Moesgard
The breakthrough!
A unit of 40 or more, Einwic and friends fight in a battle row alongside with their Danish friends of Ask, Ulfhednir, Run and the Berliners of Schildwall as well as with several Swedes and Poles.
The final result was a 4:1, in the reaching of which Einwic was instrumental.
Opposing us was the Army of Jomsborg with their multiple groups from all over Europe (including Poles, Germans, and a few Americans) as well as our friends and the source of our inspiration, the Swedish spear masters from Elvegrimare and the Dutchmen from Trek along with several German friends.
Thanks once more to our "friends" as well as to all participating groups!
Some laughed about our overly military disciplin, but our performance earned us appreciation and admiration from all sides!

Neustadt/Glewe
Tough fights against our Russian friends of Silver Wolf. We fight "Wolin style", including the head in the target area. We are successful, the Silver Wolves express their respect and reaffirm us on our way. Svart is elected the only captain. Some new Einwic are initiated. Now there are 31 of us.

Cottbus
Intensive training in the gymnasium. Together with many non-Einwics we train many different styles. Mainly reenactment fencing and Huscarl, in duels as well as in the group.

Tannenberg Castle
Einwic has reached its goal. We will go on, and now after one year, will accept new members. Our group now numbers 28.
July/August 2005
Moesgard/Wolin
Einwic proves its worth. The team with Einwic wins in Moesgard 2:1. First positive feedback from our friends of the other countries. Einwic participates already as "Einwic and Friends". Old fighting comrades, friends and potential members are side by side with us.

Various Places
Intensive training at various events. In gymnasiums or outside, sometimes even in snow.
References about armament develop, which make Einwic more effective. The goal is to make good individuals into an effective group.

Tannenberg castle
Einwic is "officially" founded. The group gets its name and symbol. At the outset the group has 23 members. A few rules are defined. Most importantly: When abroad and fighting - we always fight together! And we sport the uniform shield painting.
A test run is declared: If it succeeds to make Einwic the best German fighting group within a year, we will continue. Special attention lies on the battles of Moesgard and Wolin. That is what we want to achieve with the relatively small number of members to start with, only after that we will approach potential other members. Svart, Hermann and Udalrich are elected captains. They will give orders during the battles.

Herzberg castle
The idea to form a "supergroup" fighting unit of the best German reenactment fighters is voiced for the first time. Svart, Hezilo and others decide to talk to potential members. Criteria: remarkable fighter, internationally active, likeable.
